We are the biggest Community Meetup in all of Europe! Now in our third year(!) of events we are just as passionate to bring this hyped and loving community together twice a year as to when we started. From humble beginnings of a tweet asking “Anyone fancy going to the pub?” to hosting the largest Twitch community event in the world. You all prove time and time again that the UK community, and our European neighbours, #bleedpurple more than anyone else. Even if you have no one to go with or even no one to meet, the Twitch crowd are some of the most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. Well, here we all are, in the middle of a global crisis. We hope that you and your loved ones are keeping safe, and still smiling! Since both, our Spring and Summer planned events have had to be postponed, we have launched the Twitch London Channel and have been hosting monthly Digital MeetUps for the community! Sophie is on the front lines, ensuring that every event runs as smoothly as possible. She is the Queen of the floorplan and can always be found in Doc Marten boots, with a walkie talkie and a clipboard. The Industry Mixer party is her baby so she’s spent many a late-night working on spreadsheets.
